I'm rooting for you.

Welcome, friends!  My name is Jen and my mission is to encourage women, especially moms, to find deeper joy and contentment in their daily roles.  Whether through written stories or sharing a message from a stage, my goal is always to make you laugh and leave you feeling confident that God uses flawed and messy gals like us in unique and powerful ways.

As a mom to three kiddos–two teens and a pre-teen– I’ve been in this parenting game long enough to know is it STINKING HARD. I have learned some lessons along the way, made a million mistakes, and also found that laughing with other moms has been the key to staying sane. No matter what your season of life or parenting, you are not alone.  I want you to feel understood and SEEN in your victories and your struggles of motherhood.

Sarcasm and scripture are my superpowers

OK, well, obviously Scripture is not MY superpower, but it is a supernatural tool that has transformed my life, and I believe it can transform yours too.  Many of us moms have some sort of relationship with Jesus, but we don’t always connect our personal faith to the daily exhaustion of parenting.  I’m here to help you make that connection.

if we don't laugh we will probably cry

Other than connecting you to Jesus, theeeee best offering I have for you is to make you laugh.  I love to curate popular memes, describe for you my parenting fails, or point out the absolute ridiculousness of parenting so we can all laugh together.  Or cry together.  Either way–let’s do it TOGETHER.

I’m married to a handsome pediatric physical therapist, and live in our beloved Pacific Northwest.  We have three kids: a sassy blond teenage son, an artistic redhead daughter, and a cute little Thai guy who joined our family through adoption in 2012.

I am currently the Women’s Ministry Director at Morning Star Church in Salem, Oregon, and I have the opportunity to speak at several retreats and conferences annually.  Spending time with women, hearing their stories and helping them connect the strength of Jesus with their own struggles is my dream job.
